Special Auction Services join the ranks of supporters for G1MRA75

Latest to join the list of key sponsors for the G1MRA75 anniversary show is SAS, Special Auction Services.

SAS was established in 1991 as a specialist and traditional firm of auctioneers. With two salerooms strategically located in Newbury in the South of England and Dudley in the West Midlands, SAS is an easy to reach auction house that serves much of England.

Special Auction Services (SAS) holds more than 50 specialist auctions each year, including Toys for the Collector, and Trains and Trains Galore.

Their sponsorship means that G1MRA75 will be put in front of many people when they visit the showrooms, as well as supporting online content.

At the show, SAS will have a stand and be offering valuations for all things model railway and beyond.

Hugo Marsh, from SAS, commented: “We’re really pleased to help the Gauge One Model Railway Association celebrate this important anniversary. Over the years, we have provided auction services for many people and families, something we’re proud to do and will continue doing for many years to come.”

Stu Hithersay, show manager for G1MRA75, said: “We’re really pleased to get SAS on board. They provide a vital service in the lifecycle of models – as they pass from family to family, collector to collector down the years.”
